With “Hanging Around” we combine the immediacy of the walking act and the grandeur of aerial arts to create a stationary walking act. Of course our aerialists are performing on a fixed point, but the audience can come and go – can allow to become mesmerized in the moment, before strolling on and cherishing our aerial art on the hoop, trapeze, or silks from afar.

Our audience and clients keep asking us about longer aerial shows – the usual 7min acts seem to be over far too soon!

This is especially true at lively city festivals, loud music events, and big open air festivities: the audience is strolling around, looking here and there – best conditions for walking acts!

So, our artist or artists are "hanging around" in the air – sometimes performing a spectacular drop, a short choreography, or charming tricks. They entertain the audience and dance with the music filling the air (be it live music or a DJ, we love it all!).

The good thing about this is that our aerial artists can perform a lot longer in one set, when they do not have to stick to a complex and timed choreography. They can recover by just hanging around and amusing the audience with our stories, between tricks, drops, and choreos. Up to 30 minutes per set, up to four sets per day – we will entertain you!

We love telling stories about famous aerialist – our role models. We love to share our own stories. And we happily will research other topics, if you have themed events!

Hanging Around works indoors, and even better outdoors. All we need is a rigging point. If you don't have one, we will provide our own trapeze rig – a three-legged pyramid without ground anchors. Or you ask your sponsors about a crane: thus our aerial walking act might become an aerial flying act, not so stationary after all! This we shall discuss in person...

We will come with a solo, duett, trio, or more. We can work together or one after the other, in case you want non-stop entertainment in the air. We can combine Hanging Around with our other walking acts, or offer you a package with one of our longer pieces as a grand finale (on the same aerial rig).

The aerial space must be free of obstacles, not closer than 2m.

Open Air
For open air events I can bring my own aerial rig: freestanding pyramid (without anchor points)

Setup by Jana Korb and team. Setup appr. 2h, take down appr. 1h.
The ground must be flat and even, free of equipment and obstacles. The aerial space must be free of obstacles, not closer than 2m (no twigs, branches etc.)

We are happy to perform on other rigging points. Or maybe your event has sponsors of the building trades - and you have access to a crane. Please contact me!

Music
In Hanging Around we perform with the music of your event – and will get inspired in the moment. Be it live band or party music, our improvisation is part of the charm of Hanging Around.
Of course we also can provide our own music, all we need is an appropriate sound system.

We need light for the entire aerial apparatus, from ground to rigging point. Please contact me!

Safety
If there is a crash mat (size: 2m x 3m x 40cm), we are happy to use it!
In some cases, we can bring our own.
