Jana Korbis teaching trapeze and silks in ongoing classes in Berlin, and in workshops in Germany, Czech Republic, Poland etc. She is teaching adults of every age, beginners and advanced students, and coaching performers in their circus work.<\/p>\n

Jana is focussing on beat and breath techniques, on inner strength, and ergonomic training within her teaching of trapeze and silks. Her classes are aimed at applied circus arts for performance!<\/p>\n

Creation in confined space<\/strong> \u2013 workshop series
\nI create aerial theater. The space in which I work is limited and restricted in an extreme way. This has\u00a0become my performative normality. But it is precisely this limitation that allows me great creative freedom and inspiration.
\nAlso on the ground, this can be an effective method\u00a0for shaping a performance - when the space is understood as a blank sheet of paper, where the decision of how to begin is hard: place a chair in the room\u00a0and never leave it - this might open up creative worlds that extend far beyond the space of your chair.<\/p>\n

\nFor beginners, advanced, and professional students<\/p>\n

Rigging basics and safety in aerial arts<\/strong>
\nThese workshos aim at aerial artists and aerial teachers, to deepen their knowledge and understanding of safety when performing and teaching aerial arts: with practice examples, theoretical background, and hand on discussions.<\/p>\n
